YARD WASTE COLLECTION, MULCHING & COMPOSTING

Yard waste is collected one day per week in the unincorporated areas of Brevard County by Waste Management, Inc.

Yard waste must meet the following guidelines:

Branches and limbs must be reduced in size not exceeding 4 feet in length, 24 inches in diameter and 50 pounds in weight and shall be neatly placed at your collection point.

Loose materials such as pine needles, leaves and small twigs must be containerized in no more than 32 gallon receptacles.  The use of plastic bags for yard debris is not permitted.

Set your yard waste out at your curb by 6:00 a.m. on your collection day.  Collectors
may pick up between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
